实验的优势在于建立有效的因果推断，近年来这种方法在社会科学研究中得到广泛应用。本课程将指导学生（1）掌握因果推断的原理、实验方法的逻辑,和实验研究效度的评估；（2）概览社会科学研究中实验方法应用的形式，包括实验室实验，自然实验，实地实验，和调查实验；并且（3）具体掌握调查实验的基本设计和分析技术。 |
| 英文简介 |
The advantage of experiments is to establish valid causal relations. In recent years experimental methods have been widely applied in social science research. This course will (1) introduce students the theories of causal inference, the logic of experimentation, and the evaluation of experimental research validity; (2) provide students an overview of the major types of social science experiments, including lab experiment, natural experiment, field experiment, and survey experiment； and (3) teach students specific techniques of design and analysis of survey experiments. |
