作为学术写作的基础课程，本课程将通过写作和练习让学生了解学术研究的基本思考方法。课程在采用经典的指导性教学以外，还将应用包括翻转课堂、课堂小组和同行评审等教学创新，有效调动学生的积极性，鼓励学生主动学习。本课程的目的是培养学生建立英语阅读，以及用英语写作和思考的习惯，并着重关注学术文献中常见的问题提出——问题解决的文本范式。至本课程结束时，学生将对英文学术写作的文体和组织构成具备鲜明的意识，这使得他们在未来阅读学术文献时能够继续强化和学习，不断提高分析思维能力。本课程是将于春季学期2017开设的高级学术写作课程的先修课程。 |
| 英文简介 |
This course will introduce students to the fundamental principles of good academic thinking through writing. Our teaching team will use a combination of classic instructive learning and innovative teaching methods, including use of flipped classroom, in-class group work and peer-reviewing to foster an active approach to learning. The aim of this course is to encourage students to read, write and think in English, with particular focus on problem-solution texts commonly found in the academic literature. By the end of this course, all students will have a much greater awareness of the fundamental elements of academic writing, enabling students to continuously improve their analytical thinking skills beyond the timeframe of this course. This course is a prerequisite for participation in the advanced writing course offered during the Spring semester 2017.

By the end of this course, all students will have a much greater awareness of the fundamental elements of academic writing, enabling students to continuously improve their analytical thinking skills beyond the timeframe of this course. This course is a prerequisite for participation in the advanced writing course offered during the Spring semester 2017.
