| 英文简介 |
This is an intermediate Greek course. Students will be guided to read and translate selections of Greek texts from Homer down to the fourth century BC. Linguistic and historical contexts will be analyzed. The main purpose is for the students to become familiar with different literary styles through reading different writers and to be able to understand and translate classical texts with medium difficulty.
he course is divided into two parts, each of which takes one term.

荷马史诗、悲剧诗歌、希罗多德《历史》、修昔底德《历史》、柏拉图、亚里士多德等，每段文献约2－3周。
学生翻译分析占50％，教师讲解分析占50％。
平时成绩20％，期中考试30％，期末考试50％。
