This is an advanced course after the students taking basic courses of Discrete Mathematics and Introduction to the Theory of Computation. The course will cover the basic mathematics for high dimensional space, singular value decomposition (SVD), random walks and Markov chains, learning theory, algorithms for massive data, topic models and some additional topics. Each topic will be assigned for two class hours on the average.
