“地中海考古”是面向本科生的课程。“地中海考古”时间上涵盖史前至罗马人控制地中海这一阶段，地域上涵盖地中海周边地区，包括中亚部分地区。
授课内容主要是利用该地区丰富的考古资料，以农业、商贸、冶金、社会组织、早期形态、文字、宗教等为主题，对古地中海文明的发生、发展予以简介。

This course offers an introduction to Mediterranean Archaeology to undergraduate students. The period taken into consideration goes from the Neolithic to the period in which the Romans took control of the Mediterranean; the area considered comprises the territories touched by the Mediterranean Sea and part of Western Asia. The birth and the development of the main Mediterranean civilizations a will be presented on the basis of rich archaeological and artistic material; this material will form the basis for a discussion of other relevant issues, such as agriculture, trade, metallurgy, social organization, settlement patterns, written languages, and religions. |
